Bronze Duke of Edinburgh 2011/12

Bronze D of E evening training sessions have started! Every Monday after College a group of enthusiastic Year 9, 10 and 11 students meet in the school canteen to train for their expedition section of the D of E Award. So far we have looked at how to put up a tent, what to eat on expedition and how to put together the camping stove.

Post-16 Evening

On Tuesday the 18th October, Westfield is holding a Post-16 evening event for parents of current Year 11 students wishing to gather information on various options after the age of 16. Several colleges and vocational advisors will be present at this event.
