On Friday 11th November, Mr Clist and Miss Prosser took our first Wider Participation group of this academic year to the Edge Climbing Wall. The Wider Participation Scheme is aimed at Year 8 Gold Medalists and as a reward for good behavior, they spend a day doing outdoor activities with the Outdoor Education department.
“We took a group of 7 enthusiastic girls – Grace, Ellie, Skye, Ellie, Rachel, Chloe and Megan. We started with a few warm up traverses, then we progressed to climbing with ropes and the session finished with some bouldering. They all did brilliantly and they were all very happy to give everything a go.” – Mr Clist
