The afternoon of Tuesday the 4th June from 1pm to approx. 7.00pm has been set aside for whole college Academic Mentor Meetings. Parents are invited with their child to attend a 15-minute appointment with their Academic Mentor to discuss progress, issues and targets in detail.
Letters are being sent home this week for preferred appointment times.

Just to confirm, Friday 3rd May 2013 is a teacher training day. No students are required to attend.
Wednesday 27th March sees Westfield’s first ‘Stopped Curriculum Day’. During the day students are being taught in tutor groups instead of their normal timetabled lessons. The day will focus developing independent and team learning skills centred around the ’Business and Enterprise’ theme. All students will be working through structured activities to promote financial decision making as well as developing and marketing a new product.
Students are expected to attend as normal in full school uniform with all other aspects of the day the same.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to Comic Relief 2013 at Westfield. The week has a been a huge success and most importantly we have raised some valuable money for those less fortunate. Just to confirm we have had Bake Sales, a Non Uniform Day and The Westfield ‘Big Climb’ going on. The Big Climb being where each form have to raise £10 to enter a step contest. Each form have to do as many steps as possible in 2 days. Every member of the form had to contribute. Well the results of the Westfield ‘Big Climb’ are below.

2nd L7 – Winning 30 Inter Hall Points
3rd L5 – Winning 20 Inter Hall Points
4th D6 – Winning 10 Inter Hall Points
5th L8 – Winning 5 Inter Hall Points
Most importantly – the grand total raised for Comic Relief 2013 at Westfield is £1818.53.
